Prime Minister Dr the Honourable Keith Rowley delivered the keynote speech at the Gas Symposium being jointly organized by the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) and the Ministry of Energy and Energy Industries of Trinidad and Tobago today (November 13, 2018) on the sidelines of the 20th GECF Ministerial Meeting.
The Gas Symposium consists of two panel discussions with the topics Natural Gas and Long Term Energy Security and The Role of Natural Gas in Energy Policies of Latin America and the Caribbean.
Ministers of GECF Member Countries, Chief Executives of international and intergovernmental organizations as well as industry experts from within and outside the Latin America and Caribbean (LAC) examined among others, the role natural gas has played in the energy policies of Latin America and Caribbean region.
