Prime Minister Rowley and EOG Discuss Increased Investment in Trinidad and Tobago  

Prime Minister Dr the Honourable Keith Rowley met with a high-level delegation from EOG Resources at the Office of the Prime Minister, St Clair today (Wednesday 07 March, 2018).

The meeting was a follow-up to the Prime Minister’s visit to Houston last March, where he met with Chairman and CEO of EOG Resources, Mr. William Thomas and other executives at the energy company’s headquarters.

On this occasion Mr. William Thomas indicated to the Prime Minister that EOG was moving apace to ramp up production and they remain focussed on Trinidad and Tobago.

The EOG delegation also included: Vice President & General Manager, International Pat Woods, Chief Operating Officer, Lloyd Helms, President, Executive Operations, Gary Thomas, Executive Vice President, Exploration & Production, David Trice and Managing Director, EOG Resources Trinidad Limited, George Vieira.

Minister in the Office of the Prime Minister and the Attorney General and Legal Affairs, the Honourable Stuart Young also attended the meeting. EOG Resources, the third largest gas producer in the country, has been operating in Trinidad and Tobago for more than 25 years and is actively expanding operations and increasing their investment here.
